Last week, FLYKING Technology hosted the “Together Toward the Future: C Leader Q&A” dialogue salon, bringing together mid-level managers and senior executives for an open exchange. More than a routine internal meeting, this session served as an organizational practice centered on a fundamental question: how to communicate more effectively.

Unlike the structured coordination typical of day-to-day operations, this dialogue was intentionally set within a more open and flexible environment—one without predefined answers or conclusion-driven objectives. Instead, the emphasis was placed on expression itself.
In daily work, mid-level managers and senior executives engage in frequent collaboration. However, differences in roles and information structures often confine perspectives within their respective contexts, limiting opportunities for full articulation and mutual understanding. This salon was designed to transcend those boundaries, creating a more relaxed, authentic, and equitable space for dialogue beyond the existing communication framework.

The session was built around the concept of “open dialogue,” where participants engaged on equal footing, starting from individual experiences and gradually expanding toward broader reflections on work and the organization. Through continuous interaction, communication evolved from one-way transmission to genuine two-way exchange, facilitated by three interactive segments:
“A Different Me” Card Session
Participants randomly selected topic cards and reflected on themes such as self-awareness, career choices, and personal growth. This exercise shifted the conversation from role-based perspectives to individual narratives. As sharing deepened, hierarchical boundaries naturally softened, fostering a more open and authentic dialogue.

Executive “Blind Box” Career Stories
CEO Norman, SVP Fred, and CFO Yuli responded to randomly drawn questions, sharing pivotal moments and key decisions from their professional journeys. These candid accounts offered a transparent view into the realities of leadership, helping to break down preconceived notions and narrow the perceived distance between executives and employees.

Red-Green Card Challenge
Through real-time “support” or “oppose” responses, participants expressed their positions on specific topics. Executives addressed key concerns on the spot, ensuring that employee perspectives were directly acknowledged. As viewpoints intersected, differing positions were not only expressed but also understood, gradually fostering empathy and alignment.

This session was not designed to reach a unified conclusion, but rather to build deeper trust—creating a space where diverse voices could be heard and meaningfully engaged. More importantly, it marks the beginning of an ongoing mechanism for dialogue, one that will continue to evolve and resonate across the organization.

FLYKING upholds values such as integrity, value creation, collaboration, and inclusivity. Rather than being confined to written policies, these principles come to life through everyday interactions. Communication here is not merely the transfer of information; it is a process through which individuals express themselves authentically, deepen mutual understanding, and strengthen organizational cohesion. It is within such dialogues that meaningful change takes shape—often subtly, yet profoundly.
The true significance of “Together Toward the Future” lies not in providing definitive answers, but in recognizing that dialogue itself is the answer
